MCAR is Mississippi’s statewide commercial real estate overlay board for Mississippi and serves as a local, member board of the Mississippi Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. MCAR operates as one of the 18 Local Boards throughout Mississippi. Rates for MCAR memberships reflect pro-rated annual dues for the month we are in now. Per MCAR bylaws, membership rates are prorated to a lesser number depending on which month you join MCAR.
The costs of joining MCAR are as follows (dues are prorated monthly – see chart):
- REALTOR ® member with MCAR as Primary Board: $482.00 per year
(Includes NAR dues of $156; NAR advertising assessment of $45; MAR dues of $165.50; Code of Ethics Enforcement Fund assessment of $7.50; Issues Mobilization Fund $8.00, MCAR dues of $100.) - REALTOR ® member with MCAR as Secondary Board: $100.00 per year
- Affiliate Member (for non licensees only): $278.50 per year
- A $25 MAR application fee will be charged for new REALTORS ® or former REALTORS ® who have been inactive for at least two months.
